Fröde specialises in the logistics and distribution of furniture as well as fragile goods with the least amount of packaging possible, particularly in the field of collected items of furniture with a shipment size of 0.1 to 5 cbm per single delivery. Distribution network within Germany with 17 depots / distribution partners at present – they are either furniture forwarders or have separate furniture distribution logistics. The only vehicles used are those suitable for the transportation of furniture and fragile goods (with furniture removal transit blankets, lashing straps, hydraulic lifts etc.). The Hub and Spoke system has been used by numerous renowned furniture manufacturers for decades. Storage, commissioning and "value added services" can be implemented at the distribution centre and at the distribution location.

Shipping documents can be handed to the driver on the day of pick-up, or in advance via fax or EDI.

Collection of goods at the production location, presentation of furniture containers to customs for the respective collection location (where possible).

Collection of loaded container, daily or upon agreement.

Forwarding to Fröde distributions terminal in Weil am Rhein.

Handling/distribution of goods to the respective output relations.

Pre-carriage to the respective Fröde distribution hub.

Notification when required or requested.

Nationwide delivery of goods from collection to recipient in an average of five working days or in line with pre-agreed delivery date.
